Purpose Statement: In 2016, providers faced the realities of Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR), Pre-Claim Reviews (PCR) and progression of value-based purchasing models. Even if not directly impacted, the entire industry must pay close attention and begin preparations for the impact of programs such as these on the care delivery model. This session will provide a solid foundation, real life examples and practical strategies for leaders to position their agencies for success both now and in the future.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Examine the current and future regulatory influences impacting the provision of home health services.
  2. Explore care redesign opportunities for specific patient populations.
  3. Ensure documentation reflects key elements of skilled, reasonable and necessary with effective and efficient strategies.
