April 11, 2018 The Time to Prepare for an ADR is Before the ADR Arrives Webinar
12:00 p.m. CT / 11:00 a.m. MT

1.25 Continuing Education Contact Hours awarded by Iowa Western Community College, Iowa Board of Nursing Provider #6

Presenter: Diane Link, RN

Diane has more than 25 years of home health and hospice experience. She is currently Director of Clinical Services with BlackTree Healthcare Consultants specializing in all aspects of clinical management including outcome improvement programs, regulatory and compliance programs, episodic management, OASIS and Coding and survey readiness and remediation.

In the past few years, the home health and hospice industry has experienced more scrutiny from regulatory and payer sources than in the history of the industry. This scrutiny has led to an increase in audits, whether through the Medicare ADR process or through other audit processes. This presentation will identify how the QAPI program can be utilized to proactively identify risk areas in the organization and develop QAPI program activities focused on risk reduction.
